Pete Dredge, born in Nottingham, England, has been a full-time professional cartoonist since 1976.

Publications to which Pete contributes include, Punch, Private Eye, Radio Times, Listener, The Oldie, National Lampoon, Men Only and Times Educational Supplement. His clients include Hallmark, BBC and British Airways.

In 1986 his peers in the Cartoonists' Club of Great Britain, voted him Joke Cartoonist of the Year.
The following year he followed this up by winning the title Provincial Press Cartoonist 1987.
